Editing is charged at a rate of $0.01/word, with the first 800 words free as a sample. Front and back matter are edited and formatted at no additional charge. We offer two types of editing contract: traditional and working. Traditional contracts are charged in full upon completion of the second pass and are typically completed within two weeks. Working contracts allow for more flexibility by allowing authors to send a few chapters at a time to break the total cost down into smaller payments. With a working contract, each set of chapters will be completed within two weeks of us receiving the content, and are charged based on the word count of the chapters that are sent.

Formatting Starting at $20.00
We offer low cost, simple formatting to give your novel a polished, professional look. We will work with you on deciding font style and size, as well as optimize your manuscript for your desired trim size. We also offer custom scene break designs at no additional fee. Your work remains fully in your control stylistically, and we do not make any unauthorized changes. Additionally, we are always happy to offer suggestions to help you publish your best, most stunning work.
Once the finished manuscript has been sent for formatting, we generally can have it completed within two weeks. Upon completion of the work, you will receive an email containing two file types (.docx and .pdf) for ease of publishing.

Virtual Self Publishing Walk-Throughs Starting at $20.00
Lauren spent 5 years working for tech start ups as a software trainer. With her extensive background in learning new technologies, she has added this service as a way to empower new authors to fully take the reigns on their self publishing journey. The goal is to give you the resources you need to successfully navigate self publishing platforms such as KDP and IngramSpark. This service involves one live video call in which Lauren will walk you through each step of the process via screen sharing. She will answer questions, assist with fixing errors and help you get your novel published while also giving you the tools to get your next novel published on your own.
Following this meeting, Lauren does her best to be available for any questions or concerns that arise after publishing at no additional cost. These virtual calls typically take 1 to 2 hours. Availability is limited, so please allow at least 2 weeks to be scheduled for a call.
